Archive for March, 2008

It is now the end of March and I am taking stock in what I have done to live a year with no fear.

1. My presentation training was a huge success. I am now going to give this training to even more of my company as well as to our sister company. I am collecting testimonials to keep and use in the future.

2. I have a foster son living in my home. I planned it and am now living it. He is here and may be taken away, yet he is bringing such joy. No matter what, I have helped another little boy.

3. I asked for a full bonus at work by being confident and building my case. I got the full bonus!

4. I asked for and put together even more training for my company. I will start that in April.

5. I came out to my bosses and nothing happened.

6. I asked for testimonials from the participants in my training and they gave them to me.

What’s next:

1. I am auditioning for America’s Got Talent. If you’ve read or listened to my story, you know that I am a trained singer and actress. I have always wanted to be a professional singer on a big stage, so I am going for it on April 6th! I’ll keep you posted.

2. I am going to make a living with my passions: training and positive thinking. I will have my first course available in June. (That is a goal!!! Hold me to it!)

3. I will have testimonials from all of my training sessions.

4. I will put together a presentation that I can get paid to present.

Those are a few to start. What are some of your fear conquering goals?

Until next time. Success IS All in Your Mind!

I have been struggling lately. Not necessarily with staying positive, but frustrated because many of my goals have been put on hold for the last few weeks. Ever since my foster son came to into my life, I have found that it is extremely difficult to make the time for blogging here, doing other business or even working out. Plus, I have been sick the past few weeks and that has made it even more frustrating.

I have not been able to do the things I love because of these life challenges. Before all of these challenges, I was losing weight, blogging regularly, building my internet business and I felt great. Now I put those pounds back on and I haven’t been able to progress at all with my blogging and internet business. How on earth do I stay positive during this?

What I did and am still doing is this:

1. Think about all the joy my faster son has brought into my life.

2. Think about all the wonderful food I have eaten over the past few weeks. (Birthday cake, easter chocolate!)

3. Think about what specifically I will do when I feel better.

4. Become more focused on my goals.

5. Find ways to enjoy the little one and still get my other things together.

6. Think about what I am thankful for right now in my life. I have a lot to be thankful for right now.

7. Set new goals!

8. Keep a positive attitude.

That is what I am doing. What do you do to stay positive when life gets in the way of your goals?

Until next time. Success IS All in Your Mind!
