Positive Thinking Action: What is One Thing You Can Do Today to Move You Closer to Your Dreams?
If success in life is one thing you want, what will you do today to move you forward towards your success? Do you know what success will look like? Once you know that you can work your way backwards to see just what you need to do daily to get to your dreams.

For example: My success with my weight is becoming 135 lbs. by the end March of 2008. I currently weigh 161 lbs. so it means I need to lose 26 lbs. within 59 days or 8 weeks. Which means I need to lose 3.4 lbs per week. I like to look at it weekly because I can see more loss per week than per day. Now for me to lose 3.4lbs per week, I need to cut out extra foods such as chocolate and chips plus cut back on my portions. Also, I will need to work out at least 5 times a week for at least an hour. Now I know that today, I need to work out for at least an hour and eat one serving per meal. To do this I will keep a food journal and a workout journal. This will help me stay on track.

Now that I have written it down, it is much easier to make sure I do it.

What is one thing you would like to accomplish that you could write out just like I did?

1. What is your goal?

2. When do you want to achieve it?

3. Work backwards to see what needs to be done weekly and/or daily to achieve your goal.

4. Keep a journal and track your success.
Positive Thinking Automation: Using Power Words
Have you asked someone how they felt and they said, “ok or fine”? When someone asks you how you feel, what do you say?

I used to say, “Ok, fine or good”. Now when someone asks me I say, “Awesome!” I don’t say, “Ok, fine or good” anymore. I have trained myself to use a word that makes me feel powerful. How can you feel bad when you say, “Awesome”? What word could you find that when you say it would make you feel great? It has to be a powerful word. Think big. Think powerful! Say the word to yourself several times and feel how you feel when you say it.

Now when someone asks you, “How do you feel?”, you say, “Your Power Word”. Make sure and breath deep and smile a lot when you say it. Stand up tall and confident too.

Try it for the next week and see how you feel. Write it in your journal. Let me know how it feels.

Positive Thinking Lifestyle: Start Your Positive Thinking Community to Skyrocket Your Personal Success!
Who you associate with can make all of the difference when it comes to getting and staying positive. Look at who you associate with now. Are they positive people? Do you hang around any negative people? Which people do you feel better with?

If you commiserate with certain people, it is time for that to end. You need to find people who will inspire you to move forward. People who are positive and look at the world in a positive way. Hanging around them will motivate you to change your ways and work on getting and staying positive.

Who else that is positive in your life would you like to hang around? What will you do to move that relationship forward? Don’t be afraid to say, “I like how positive you are. How did you get that way? Would it be possible to hang out?” Do something to let them know you like the way they are and would like to surround yourself with like people.

Once you have a support group around you utilize their positive energy to help you achieve your goals. You all can work together to transform your lives. It can be a beautiful thing and very energizing.

Join in and Have a Say: MySpace.com Groups Positive Thinking Wannabees & Positive Thinkers Unite!

I wanted to help you to find a group of people with like attitudes and thoughts, so I have started two groups on MySpace.com.

a. One is called Positive Thinking Wannabees. This group is for those people who want to think positively, yet have a challenge in that area. This group will help you find some of the answers and give you tips and actions you can take to create success in positive thinking. You can bounce ideas off of everyone and tell us what you think. We can even hold you accountable to make sure you are achieving your dreams and changing your thoughts. I will be a part of this group too!

b. The other is called Positive Thinkers Unite! This is a group for those of you who consider yourselves Positive Thinkers. This is a place where you can vibe off other positive thinkers and use that to gain even more personal success. Plus, this is for Positive Thinkers who want to make a difference. We will be focusing on how we can use our positive thinking to make a difference in our own communities as well as around the world.

That’s it for this episode.

Until next time. Success IS All in Your Mind!

The second group is for anyone who already lives a Positive Thinking Lifestyle and wants to be around positive thinking people. The most important part of this group is that it is all about taking ACTION. I now use my ipod like it is a part of me. This Christmas I was fortunate enough to get an ipod and I have been loading it up with all the audiobooks and videos that I can get my hands on. I have an fm converter to let me hear my ipod in my car during my 20 minute commute to and from work. It is fantastic!

Every time I get in my car I put on an inspirational audio book and I learn something. If I am feeling down or not motivated, I play my favorite kickin music and I am set to go.

I also use my ipod every time I run. It is truly amazing how much you can learn if you just fill your head with new things. Now I spend up to hour and a half learning something or filling my head with good things everyday. It keeps me feeling good and thinking good.

What do you do with your technology that helps you think positive?

Until next time. Success IS All in Your Mind!
